Jesse Ward is a Canadian artist based in Vancouver, BC. He graduated with a BFA from Emily Carr University of Art and Design in 2025. His practice focuses on developing an eye catching visual lexicon that captures the subtle, personal nuances of everyday marks within a community. Grounded in the contemporary context of the North Pacific, Ward’s work reflects a sensitivity to place and perception of that space. The work’s compositions showcase a timeline of mark making that is revealed through time with the work. Ward is currently not represented by a gallery or institution.
